The fact over half of the world isn’t supported by PSN is a much bigger issue, and you cannot provide a fake country as that’s a TOS violation which Sony support is encouraging it seems.

Creating your PSN account with a supported country from an unsupported country gives them authority to terminate the account, and I doubt “support guy told me it’s ok” will hold up.

beside that, i read the statement of the Helldivers dev, apparently it was always supposed to be on and they only turned it off because of the servers absolutely getting destroyed due to the amount of users. Situation feels a bit odd still ngl

I genuinely don't think there would have been an issue had it been more obvious at launch. Unfortunately when your publisher doesn't give a fuck about their own TOS and sells the game in areas that their service can't reach, we get this.

The first is apparently one of arrowheads staff got in hot water for basically telling people who were mad to 'make their voice heard' aka the reviews/refunds

The second is how a agreement between Arrowhead and Sony that was probably some kind of prerequisite for Sony's support has been rendered effectively null by people being so pissed off. Just goes to show that the angry mob is still a powerful tool even in the digital era

they lost the right to reinstate PSN the moment they sold the game to countries that cant use it. should've just given ppl a signup reward and made it optional

also find it incredibly funny that live-update pinging all ur personal information to japan's deepstate made the servers implode. goes to show how shit all the steam+EAGAMES and steam+ORIGIN double logins really are for performance

im talking about the cm who told ppl to essentially cope ("u lazy gamers cant spend 120 seconds to sign up for a third party service.. you're refunding and leaving? GOOD."), is that the one? (i think he apologized acctually) oh and the mod who banned any mention and anyone who mentioned a certain twitter personality (he got demoted from Senior Moderator to just Moderator (Janny Supreme -> Janny))
