The 1954 one is a given.

After that? Dealer's choice. I have a soft spot for Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla from 1974 but they're all fun in their own ways. Godzilla vs King Kong is another stand-out though.

just finished this film at 4am and it made me cry like a fucking bitch, would recommend.

soundtrack was something else.

water burial, and the "suicide" in the diner
are probably going to stick with me forever, it really doth be like that sometimes.

Joaquin really shines through in this one, better than the Joker in a lot of ways, because his character is more ambiguous, really channelling Bickle energy overall, the representation of PTSD and panic attacks really resonated.

also yeah the illuminati shit was FUUUCKED of course Joaquin would be the one to star in a film about it.
