HUGE move from Microsoft, Microsoft could now hold a LOT of Bethesda titles on their own platform, and keep them Xbox/PC, although Minecraft was ported to other platforms as well so we will have to see what their plan is on that.

Most importantly, Bethesda and obsidian are now sister companies, which means... fallout new vegas 2 is a possibility! Although that is very optimistic of me.

Overall I think Microsoft did a great move but quite expensive, it might take some time to get that money back but in the long run is a great investment.

Not the worst but definitely not the best either imo, Microsoft buying studios seems to usually lead to lots of outsourcing and random studios making lower quality games under the well known IP.

To be fair I think Bethesda can't go any lower quality than recently, especially with fallout.

(although Doom was great)
