Far from poo the more modern a game is. In terms of multi-threaded performance it beats an i5 (most gens) if you OC/ties without, which is more expensive than the 8350. For older games that use only 2 to 4 cores, yeah, it's a bit of a bottleneck; but nothing horrible.
