teamspeak 3 banned in uae i need method of connecting

it's banned in the uae, i tried getting vpn and it didn't work. downloaded cyberghost via TOR yet it's blocked from actually accessing it i'm stuck on the loading screen. all vpn sites are blocked and most are $$$ needed. wtfast trial ran out because for some reason it came with my OS ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I know one of the things that is going to be annoying is attending TS staff meetings. Only thing I can think of in the short-term is to get someone to write in-detail notes rather than the quick jotting downs so that you can read after. And during the meetings I'm sure someone can relay info to you. Onto actually accessing TS though - is it the same for discord or even things such as skype, ventrilo (feeling old now), mumble and such?

They banned TS3 and Discord, pretty much it afaik, they did this before with Skype and forced it to get a license in the UAE to make it available here. Discord's voice chat is fucked, sounding all robotic and inaudible to my knowledge, Teamspeak won't even let me connect, and I don't use skype.

What really affects me is how I won't be able to attend meetings, and I can't use voice chat during S2K or in CSGO with friends, etc. without using the normal CSGO chat - I prefer TS over that.

so I found a way to use WTFast to unblock teamspeak for me but i can't play gmod while having WTFast unblock teamspeak

i'll be able to hop on teamspeak, but not while playing games

anyone ideas?/?

Try using a Chrome extension VPN then access the websites to download a VPN client.

yeah, turns out because I use le Du internet provider and he doesn't, and Etisalat has it blocked while Du doesnt I can still use it.

damn son. been reading up on workarounds, and they all sound pretty shitty and a lot of effort and would cost money to rent things. Best tidbit of advice:

I found a solution for myself, Flyvpn (not the best but it's alright) can enable VPN only on discord and nothing else =D! you can select programs that you want it to use and thats it!

Hope this helps alot of etisalat users =)

Use tor to access the "banned" websites or change your DNS to google's.

Then download the clients. There are a few vpn providers who allow you to filter out which applications to use

Of course you need to pay, it's a service. You live in the fucking uae, you dont have 5€?

You can also try cyberghost, all VPNs are good for playing but since youre in the middle east it's a bit of a problem considering there arent good routes really

Don't worry I am from the uae aswell but I found a fix for team speak and discord, but the discord one has been patched like yesterday. anyways for team speak all you have to do is use the vpn to join the server then disconnect from the vpn and you can use team speak, that worked for me

as far as I know, companies that provide VOIP services in the UAE need to purchase a license from the government. its just a way to prevent people from circumventing the telecom monopoly.
