Cyberpunk novels are also awesome. Books like Neuromancer and Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep have not only influenced so much sci-fi today, they really spark my imagination. I recently was watching Altered Carbon as well. It seems to be heavily inspired by Neuromancer.

If you're looking to do a survival playthrough, I would definitely recommend the survival overhaul "Horizon". As Obsidian said, Frost is good as well, but that is set shortly after the bombs fell with a different storyline. Very difficult, but very satisfying. Maybe try out some alternate start...

It seems like some of you guys around here are getting pretty down recently. I think that finding something you're grateful for might put things into perspective for you. I'll start with saying I'm very grateful for my dog. He's been a huge way to support me throughout tough times.

To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to know how to roleplay. The advanced required knowledge for writing, politics, military tactics and philosophy far surpasses many people's abilities.

You'll most likely be able to do more good and change as a governor of a state. You'll have potentially less corporations and lobby groups to owe something to, and can set an example which many other governors follow.
