Antlion attacks and other mini-events are fun if they're a one time thing sure, but we want a reason for why the resistance is here. Give us an actual storyline or something like that, some goal that we have to pursue rather than just NPCs.

Yeah we've literally had nothing to do and no reason as to why we are here either as resistance members, exploring shit all day where you know that you find nothing is only "fun" a few times soo yeah, boring event so far.
