i've seen the bad batch reels and part of the utapau ones, there's stuff about cad bane, boba and ahsoka circulating on youtube, but you're gonna be better off just waiting until they release the final version

12 episodes that are at least 22 minutes each with a total of 264 minutes or 4.4 hours screentime

as it runs concurrent with rots we can expect the best

Hyped for this, from the looks of it it'll be more focused on Ashoka and I don't mind it. I just want to see clone squad Bad Batch in action because they sound sick.

Aaaa, I remember beating the clone wars game on Wii like three times, I loved it so much. I did also watch the very early stuff of the Clone wars stuff too

This season has been a mixed bag, first couple of episodes were alright, the middle of the season that's setting up Ahsoka again was so fucking boring that I kind of just stopped midway to take a break. The last two episodes (Which is the whole point of the season, the part where Episode 3 and the clone wars show begins to overlap) have been fucking awesome.

Once we start getting to the siege of Mandalore Arc, theres just so many tid-bits here and there that I kind of appreciate. The original Lucas Arts logo when Star Wars first started coming out was a nice touch and a neat tribute to Lucas, Saxon and Rook from the Maul: Son of Dathomir comics making their appearance as how we got introduced to them at first. While I'm not into the Solo movie, seeing Dryden Vos making an appearance was a neat homage to the creator which was nice. Seeing Maul become more and more restless as the clone wars starts to come to an end once he has a vision about Skywalker becoming palpatines apprentice and telling Ahsoka about it was pretty fucking cool, and watching him go absolutely crazy out of desperation not to get captured by the clones by saying "You're all going to burn, you're all going to die, let me die" s a tad bit chilling

With there being two episodes left, I'm going to wager a guess that next episode is going to see the execution of order 66, and the final episode (Thats going to be on may 5th, nice touch Filoni) is going to be some sort of epilogue where we sort of start seeing the scene set up for the Ahsoka book.

im sad that they made nods to the coruscant part of 2003 clone wars (with shaak ti), but didn't actually revisit it

is it just me or was the mocap for the ahsoka/maul duel in the most recent episode really obvious and kinda weird compared to previous clone wars duels?

Considering this is the teams biggest send off of the clone wars they can get, Disney gave them a lot more money for a budget to work with then they would get when they were making episodes for Cartoon Network before disney bought them out. They spent a hell of a lot of time on this season, a year or so for twelve episodes, compared to when they would be making like 20 or 21 episodes a season, so they made it as gorgeous as possible: hence why every character got another makeover in order to better fit their Episode 3 appearances, and everyone has more fluid animation. At this point the show looks more like a movie, which I love, compared to what we got when Clone Wars first came out as a movie when everyone looked like stiff action figures.

If they decided to use Motion Capture for the duel, I wouldn't really be against it. They had the money for it, and they went all out since its their send off.

-E Not sure why it forgot to let me qoute you constant but w.e

yeah, I get that, but it just looked a bit odd compared to the standard kinda-clunky-sometimes-but-also-loveable cw animation style

order 66 next episode boys

I wonder if its going to throw down while Maul somehow escapes prison. Maybe we'll see him get to pick up a dead soldiers comlink and watch him kind of give a big 'fuck you' to sidious while he's on the holo

i think they're gonna throw us right into it in the start/mid of next episode seeing as its running concurrent with ROTS at a rapid pace, and kenobi was on his way to utapau halfway through the last ep
