It's fascinating. The axolotl is a relatively unfamiliar species of fish to most people - but in recent times, many studies have come out showing scientific evidence that most have the capability to learn, process complicated thoughts, and even have an inner voice; a "subconscious". In retrospect to these studies I've begun reading him Kropotkin's, Meltzer's and others' work. Even though I cannot communicate with him directly, he is showing promising signs of intellect in learning human sign language - and, most important of all, has adopted anarcho-communist ideals.
