CPs ported into Source look like plastic and look terrible. Generally, any model coming from any other engine just turns ugly in Source, look too clean, over HD or completely out of place, unless the author intends to downsize the texture quality and make them look natural.

I believe GMan says that he has a homeworld? What if Combine went into his homeworld, captured him and realised his species' powers, placed him into a special cell and titled it as their Super Weapon and classified it, intending to use him somehow.

But, if you listen to the bits where they talk about it during the actual game they mention that in order to capture whatever was inside, they built the vault around an apartment building. Meaning that they didn't go anywhere to capture him, they found or heard that the Gman was inside an apartment so they encased the entire apartment and pumped vort energy into it so the Gman couldn't leave.

I really like the design of Larry, looks and acts like somebody that actually lives/ scavenges in dangerous areas. even though there are none against him in the chapter, the spiked helmet for headcrab protection is my favourite feature next to how much he talks to himself.

this woman who closes the door on you has a cat. or it's a very convincing statue of a cat. the image is quite dark so i had to brighten it and taking it from a youtube video has fucked the quality, but.. yeah. cats exist. very cool.

She has multiple cats, there's two in that photo and if you get up there quick enough you can see more inside. There's also in the laundromat before this a poster for a missing cat by someone who lives in the area. Probably this woman.
