Haven't seen one of these about.

Sitting around at home, bored with a load of money kicking about, I've started investing and I'm hooked. It's crazy to think I can make money just by putting some money into something for a bit. I've got a couple of shares, as well as investing in Bitcoin. All seem pretty profitable so far, even if they aren't getting me ludicrous amounts of money.

buying and holding is a bit pointless unless you already got quite a bit starting capital

if you know you know

the drop is dead

long live the drop

could always be a wipeout with the next corona shockwave from third world/mismanaged countries

you need a good few hundred to get anything decent out of it

even if you're doing it short term (a week or less).

You need more capital to trade stocks ye
You can always find more volatile assets with higher leverages and be fine, if you know wtf you're doing

let's be honest, there's a lot of people out there who don't, and there's a lot who would rather simply trade stocks than escalate their risks.

if you want to go down the road of options/margin trading, etc, you're either coming out on top or you're screwing yourself. stocks don't expire unless the corp goes bankrupt.

they don't expire if you're investing in stocks, I'm talking about pure trading, which means you need a Stop Loss, at which point you get automatically taken out the trade, so it don't matter much, it's all about regulations
it's why my broker is in Australia, cause EU regs are too tight

I had a thread 'bout this https://nebulous.cloud/threads/angel-market-projections-and-shit.44537/

id say ur fine w/ trading stocks if u know what ur doing, if u dont then just find an etf u like and put ur savings into that; that being said the younger you are the more risks you can (and probably will, let's face it) take naturally

imo savings accounts w/ the goal of growing wealth is useless, inflation is almost always going to outpace whatever sub-1% apr you're getting so it's basically necessary to find something in the market
