From the people that have played this, is it worth it to buy this if you're primarily solo? A.k.a relying on public servers, campaign and the likes.

There's a campaign, though with friends it becomes easier, you can play it singleplayer too
The assets are really good and the terrain is insanely cool and well detailed

yeah if you're into arma and milsim for sure, it's the best dlc they've ever put out. There's a ton of mike force public servers and they're fun to play even by yourself, you can easily group up with some people on the go or just do your own thing. And if you're looking for people to play arma with but aren't interested in joining any units you should check out karmakuts public liberation server, it's a more solid community and there's more of a focus on actually teaming people up for semi-realistic operations.

I tend to play games like squad, I enjoy milsim stuff and also have no issue joining units. It's just that I have no clue how to and when it comes to games such as Arma my interest is usually rather on/off. Seeing as I've bought it I'll prolly give Karmakut's server a try after getting used to controls/changing them again.
