You know when it first started spreading im pretty sure everyone had at least one or two scares when they went “oh shit i got a sore throat/cough/headache is this covid?” or “my pal just coughed across the room does he have it?” and then you looked up symptoms and testimonies and got even more and more scared and it turned out to (probably) be nothing in the end

among us:
i know this sounds like a shitpost but you know the among us memes and shit where everyone saw the funny astronaut in every single fucking object to make le funny post about it

its a combination of the two, a fear of a disease and incessant shitposting/schizoposting about alzheimers for months on end and being hyperexposed to those symptoms/patterns for his brain to make a connection to make a joke

i know it cause it happens to me all the fucking time amplified by 20 cause of my stupid lizard brain that cant focus and my desperate need to try to be funny at any opportune moment coupled with me being a massive hypochondriac

dude was making dinner and was distracted by his computer, he reached for a cup cause of muscle memory and realized he didnt take his cup and his lizard brain made the connection of forgetting to le epic alzheimers jokes

Idk where im going with this im just armchair psychologisting it up but i think thats what happened and dont want the dude worrying about a disease he probably doesnt have
