this is horrendous advice; if you don't get active, you won't want to eat - even a brief walk will stimulate you into being more hungry

if you're inactive; you won't get hungry - your body won't want food because it's not burning calories actively

don't ever force feed yourself; it's bad for you, it can do damage to you, and you'll only ultimately make yourself miserable

Having to walk Obi every day has been better for my health than anything else tbh.

Its not like I can decide to skip a day (at least not more than one or two if we give him exercise another way) when the little guy has to burn off energy and turns into a bitey dickhead if he can't lmao

Unless you're highly anorexic then forcing yourself to eat will worsen your already really unhealthy relationship with food

Eat according to physical activity

If you are working in offices then you can settle for the lower end of the recommended caloric intake for maintenance. If you do labor work then you should go in a calorie surplus

how tf do you even gain weight when you got a shit appetite and extremely fast metabolism
lost a shit ton over quarantine cause i practically stopped eating breakfast and my appetites gone to shit
After eight hours without eating, your body will begin to use stored fats for energy
biggest thing for my weight gain was as simple as eating something right before I go to bed
then eat something small in the mornings to get your stomach to boot; then try to eat a decent sized lunch.
never let that 8 hour gap pass, first few kilos are gonna be a lot harder than when you're actually back on track

i promise you that even though it might seem a bit counterproductive, burning calories is a good way to earn them too, if you work out- jog, whatever, your appetite is going to spike, you'll always be able to munch a few proteins down right after training.
i cant really gain fat either, but muscle comes regardless, and it's a lot denser than fat, so you'll still gain healthy weight.

i recommend eating a lot of proteins before anything else, if you've got a fast metabolism you're not gonna lay on that many calories anyway, proteins proteins proteins on top of working out will work. don't snack candy bars or cheap calories or they'll just make you feel less hungry even though they've got nothing good in them.

The most important thing you can do right after waking up is drinking water

You are dehydrated, extremely so during summer, when you wake up. If you are doing outdoors work/working out in intense bursts then I highly recommend having a waterbottle with two cubes of dextrose and a teaspoon of salt in it to keep your minerals up

Protein bulk shakes, if you own a blender, is a very good idea and is an excellent way to get the day going with something that genuinely tastes pretty fucking good too

99/100 people who say they have a 'fast metabolism' aren't eating 2500 calories a day

make sure your meals are at least 800 calories a piece and that you're snacking too, and you won't let yourself down in terms of calorie count
used to eat a fucking giant slice of pizza and like half a liter of soda for breakfast and then lunch and finally two sandwiches for dinner + random shit throughout the day for like 3 years straight and i was still just as underweight as i am now

started highschool and began to eat less cause i had less time during my breaks at school + way shittier and more expensive food

covid started last year and i just straight up ditched breakfast for most days now i struggle to finish 2 sandwiches which is fucked


dont disagree that im prob not eating enough but even when i did i was skinny af

i run through two protein shakes a day in addition to my meals they've really been the deciding factor in a lot of my weight. gotta really stay on top of working out with lots of intake

you can make food that tastes just as good; guilt free, and isn't full of junk calories and ultraprocessed food

i highly recommend learning to cook along with this journey - it's massively beneficial

I would go running but summers here get fucking relentless

its meh rn but its gonna ramp up in about a week or so and regularly hit 30+ (nearly 40 next week) celsius at which point i just fucking melt

i still take my dog on daily walks so thats something at least

breakfast is usually the hardest thing to start for me so maybe i should try to eat it more

Tbf that was like 4-5 years ago i like to think im a bit healthier now ive generally ditched soda in favour of water and cut down on unhealthy shit a lot

it was mostly out of convenience other foods were baked and fatty pastries like burek which are 95% fat anyway so there wasnt much of a choice i couldnt get out and grab a plate of rice and meat or something and there usually wasnt a line for it

scran a banana or literally anything, a detriment to gaining weight is long periods of not eating anything at all because your body burns whatever excess you've recently put on and you're stuck in a loop

I used to be really fucking skinny and i still am (but I'm gaining weight) but I've noticed that working out, eating more protein-rich meals and drinking protein shakes has been slowly increasing my weight

Ive a fast metabolism but its also not impossible to gain weight, you just gotta make some changes to your diet and get yourself a work out routine

maybe in a few years but i gotta make due with the shit i got now
