the only energy drink i tolerate is red bull if im really thirsty its pretty alright when its cold
caffeine does nothing for me so i'd rather get anything else that isnt as sugary and doesnt taste of chemicals

i drink it b4 and after workouts, and if a shower doesn't get me up in the morning then a reign but other than that i don't drink them too much

i really wouldnt buddy preworkout is an absolute myth
you want to be at your top natural heartrate, accelerating it with a bunch of caffeine is just bad for you and potentially a bit dangerous, though one redbull wont kill you

eat some proteins like 4 hours before your workout so it can start churning in your stomach and you won't die of a food coma while you're doing it - and enough time for you to get hungry again, then eat a hearty meal right after you've had your workout.

caffeine has been used as shitty performance enhancers for ages, plus sugar is the source of energy. the sugars in the energy drink increases your insulin, allowing you to absorb carbs and proteins better.

for foods b4 workouts, usually it's a nice easy meal i can just make on the fly like rice and some eggs during the mornings and 4 afternoons usually grains and leftover meats i have from whatever i cooked for dinner last night.

this would be true if you had an orange or an apple which contain natural sucrose because you'll get both glucose and fructose in your system but a red bull or a candy bar or any other junk is just refined sugar that'll leave as soon as it entered and do your body no favors.

if you give a shit about your health just drink water

coke zero and other zero sugar/calorie drinks are fine, you just need to adapt to them
