Looks a lot more like the original games than I expected, so I guess you probably didn’t want to play them? Lol
I might buy one out of the three when their price is reduced to be honest

haven't had the chance to play through any of the old GTA games and while yes they definitely look better compared to the old games, I don't really like the way the graphics look. I'm kinda used to GTA being in a more realistic style in terms of graphic and the ones for GTA:SA just look too plastic for me

its more or less been confirmed to be graphically "updated" ports of the VC, SA and 3 Android/iOS versions to UE4

Tbh San Andreas is the best looking of them all, followed by GTA 3 and then Vice City which looks pretty bad from the screenshots I‘ve seen

Honestly though I‘ll probably still buy it since most of the graphic mods that people praise for the original games are a chore to get to work, especially since I got the german versions of the games

i have no doubt that the modding community will make the games look better

gta4 remaster 2023 btw
buy pc versions on sales so that 2-3-4 years down the line when someone mods in private servers (which already happened) you can play the good version with buddies

New gta4 remaster 2023 btw
hopefully it's on RAGE (r*'s first party engine), i don't think the game would feel the same on UE4/5. i understand the older gta games since they weren't on RAGE in the first place but gta 4 is different

I have no idea where this logic has come from, you can make a game feel how you want with UE5 lol.

You can even integrate your own physics such as NaturalMotion which is what GTA IV used.

This is nonsense logic my friend.

GTA 3 was the first GTA game I played as a kid and my parents took it off me cause I'd run over hookers lmao
man it took me half an hour to beat GTA SA's opening bike sequence as a kid because the ballas car kept knocking me off the bike

there’s just a certain something i like about RAGE games, much like source games. UE4 games have a particular look and feel to them which, while not inherently bad, personally wouldn’t make GTA4 feel like GTA4. it’s likely just me attributing stuff like the physics and graphical style to the engine rather than how the game was developed.

it’s just silly personal taste really. UE5 is a definite step up though.

also unrelated but i was disappointed to see no physics changes were seemingly incorporated in the trilogy remaster. i wasn’t expecting euphoria/naturalmotion levels of changes but at the least some ragdolls on death would be nice rather than the stiff and static death animations.

This is false, UE4 by default has a identifiable look but anyone developing a game can turn up the material roughness or make very easy changes to give it the look they want.
