dpi is literally the amount of times a mouse checks for movement per second, which also syncs up with your mouses max performance. doubling your dpi makes a crazy difference on a good mouse.

high dpi, lower sens is always better; even if certain pros do it one way. you'll see this with old mice that look stuttery for seemingly no good reason.
Checking for movement speed?

Why don't you check for some bitches instead??

Razor Deathadder V2, usually sat at 800 DPI
1920x1080
60 Hz x

Appreciated homie cause I'm too retarded to figure this out myself
you're fine at the dpi you're already sitting at given your res; the only reason things would feel slow and janky for you is because you have a 60 Hz monitor which literally means any gaming running at above 60 fps does not render or utilize anything above 60 fps for you
[doublepost=1638042754][/doublepost]here's a good comparison video for you gamers

the actual cutoff point between convenience and an unnoticeable difference is often screen and mouse dependent both.
it also matters a lot what you're comfortable with. 400 dpi is definitely noticeably jagged and fucky though; and the higher DPI you can get used to, the better for you.
personally im running 1600 DPI on a 2560x1440 @165 hz monitor. this accounts for a massive difference in gameplay and down to the wire gaming - but most gamers on here probably dont care enough to mess with details for small improvements; DPI i'd say is a small change for a big difference though, always worth.

Three of the best CS players of all time
I really think whatever perceived "improvement" you feel is placebo
the standard, in at least CSGO, is 400 dpi, and any pros that don't have that are outliers, such as elige that plays with 1600 and device that plays with 800.

also s1mple major winner

this wouldn't happen if only niko had doubled his dpi

sorry if toxic i just thought it would be funyn meme

God, I want to do drift in NFS:Carbon once with a manual shifter and a wheel.
@Johnny B. Goode do you have any recommendations regarding wheels?

Logitech G29 is hands down the best entry level wheel for the money. The wheel and pedals are very solid feeling and even when my brother started Sim Racing he used that and managed to get the world record lap around Long Beach Circuit in Project Cars 2

His current set up is like £4000 though so I wouldn't recommend getting that attached to it all LOL, even just the mount for the steering wheel itself costs £1500 because of the feedback it gives, as well as the adjustments you can make
