Can someone tell me the big deal with Gorillaz? I've listened to some of their songs and didn't really like any of them. Is there something special I'm missing?

kiddies and plebs like their animation

honestly their 'brand' has been done better by other people, they arent even the best band in their field

I didn't like the music, but I did like the styling on the 2d characters in their music videos.

it's not the best, no but it's not the worst either

I personally don't care about the clips, even thought some of them are cool and stuff. But I like their music style a lot
