On June 21st, 2017, Karl's wife, Steinunn Ólína Þorsteinsdóttir posted on Facebook that the cancer has once again metastasized and has reached Stage IV. Þorsteinsdóttir states in her post "Although the chances and statistics are not in our favor, and Stefán's candle burns quickly, we will not be scared of fear." [9]


Stage IV. This stage means that the cancer has spread to other organs or parts of the body. It may also be called advanced or metastatic cancer.


So. Stefan pretty much has terminal cancer.


Fuck.

This is honestly really sad. Hopefully the amount of money that was generated and donated helps him live out the rest of his days comfortably and to the best med care he can get.

Legit he was my childhood hero, such great humor and comedic skills, really sad now >:^(.
Even if he was a shitty meme at times, I'll always remember him.

I really hope a calm death for him, you can't really escape terminal cancer.

Many patients who are going out with Stage IV cancer go out peacefully in their sleep, while hopped up on the most concentrated Morphine Tartrate that the hospital will allow them; I can practically guarantee that he'll go peacefully and without pain.
