Can't get past downloading when connecting

Hi, so basically the issue is that ever since the map changed to the event map, I can't join. Whenever I do try to join my game freezes up on "Downloading materials/helix/ixhl2rp/logo.png" then after about 10 minutes of loading it finally gets to starting lua, but almost immediately afterwards I time out.

I made sure that I have all the content installed, I've restarted my computer, steam, verified the integrity of the game cache, and so on. The issue hasn't been fixed as of yet, and has never even been an issue in the past, it just started when the map changed to Zaton.

I heard I'm not the only one experiencing this issue, so if anyone knows a fix, please let me know, thanks.

Alright buds, I think I found the solution, to anyone having this issue heres what I did. I'm not sure which did it, or if both did but I disabled any addon that doesn't relate to neb hl2rp. Then I typed in console "Net_maxroutable 1260" and joined once again, this time it still took a while but I wasn't timed out afterwards, and got into the server :D

I'm not sure what it was then, I hope you can get it fixed though.
