fast paced shooter with building elements

the hate around fortnite is just sad, its typical "new thing bad, old thing good"

I mean as much as I find the game boring, the big events they do at least clearly have alot of effort put into them.

I thought them constantly reshaping and remaking the map was one of the big appeals though? Are people gonna be able to play the old one anymore?

I played it a lot in the past but got bored of it. Frankly I could play it again, I'm just too lazy to download it again. I might, though.

Fortnite is still better than Apex Legends, but Garry's Mod is much better than everything combined. Actually, who am I kidding, Minecraft is the best.

I have PUBG. I played it. I think it's kind of boring. It's just like Fortnite in the game type perspective (battle royale): repetitive.

Speaking of Fortnite, it's back. Chapter 2. Nice.

Difference is that PUBG is generally longer paced, with more down-time to relax and plan, aswell as rewarding methodical planning and positioning more than reflexes and reaction time

Yeah I guess that's one good difference between them, although fast paced or not, still the same thing happens every game. You either win or die. Sure, maybe you're dropping to location B instead of A, and a different one next game, but the result is still the same. Not that its bad, its just after a long while it gets boring.

Updated map that still retains some old POIs
Battle pass doesn't only rely on challenges to level up, it's now xp based and you earn xp for basically playing the game in addition to xp from challenges
New gameplay mechanics (you can yeet downed players into the storm goty 2019)
Everything generally looks nicer, some visuals were tweaked and UI elements made a bit flashier

They've outdone themselves so far I think, especially with them literally dropping the game for 2 days lol
