Battle Royale RP
Where 100 characters treat it as a real fight to the death, the combat is S2RP, and it takes so long that pretty much every player will fall asleep on their keyboard before the match ends.

Believe it or not, you're not talking smack. In my eyes, this could be done, but with perhaps quicker matches, smaller teams and a shit ton of Staff to watch over every team or person. - Most of it wouldn't be Battle Royale anyway, the way I picture it. It would be.. I don't know, Dorm RP? Military RP? Occasionally the "soldiers" that go and fight to the "death" are trained by higher-ups to perform better, maybe even go through training courses, then take the occasional breaks.

i've played events like this on hl2rp

not a bad idea at all, although i do think it's not well suited for a standalone server
