exactly what Sambo said
dont use autoblock
learn how to block
feinting is also a huge part of multiplayer pvp
as soon as you get the game I honestly just recommend hopping on the 100v100 siege server, its populated most of the time and its loads of fun.
If you read all the dialogue in the singleplayer and actually play it like an RPG youre gonna love it, so much stuff to do, you can be a merchant, or an outlaw or even try to get your own hold and be a vassal or make your own kingdom, it's fucking awesome.
Warband is fun, SP is better than shitty MP. Alot of factions/play styles for how you want to fight. And I've been waiting for Bannerlord since 2014, they keep changing the dates cause if they release it the Turkish gov will stop paying their salary. . . .
I have a bad feeling Bannerlord will come out and it'll flop and be absolutely awful. Usually the case if I wait for something that long
mp is not shitty though, so much fun doing 100v100 sieges
also napoleonic warfare with regiments was so much fun
not to mention persistent world and how much shit u can do in that mod
mp is best part of warband imo
pw rping is a thing but its not that great, all other mods rp is unexistent
theres two pw servers
one which is basically medieval darkRP
and one which is basically rp-heavy and isnt that popular
oy it's great, so many sp mods for it too so it'll always keep you entertained. red wars is pretty lit starting a communist revolution in a 1920s calradia.
m&b combat is pretty cool, but very hard to master - it's kind of physics based (if that makes sense). all it needs is practice, the only other counter i know is to try to learn feinting yourself.
Fast reactions, also never press S, unbind S from your keyboard. I see people holding S during meele fights but its a really bad habit. Always get up in the enemy's face, put pressure on him. If you have a shield, go for an attack, then feint it, hold your block. If he attacks into your shield you can quickly go for an attack, then pressure him and keep stabbing him.
