so what do you propose to do with people who have 10+ bans on record for roughly the same reasons who sit out their ban just to do the same stuff again. Most permabanned-ees have such a record.

leeway? I haven't been forum banned for a while iirc but I have 10 warns. Lengthy bans sure but outright removal from the community datastorming and shit is like, the fuck man

ooc bureaucracy ≠ being braindead - most 'perma' bans are justified but some are just plain dumb

im not saying people are getting banned out of pure passion out of roleplay, but harmless jokes you've been doing shouldn't be the reason you get fucked over something serious and get told 'we don't want you here ever'

Appeals exist too, not like we've been against unbanning people

Are you referring to a specific person tho? Granted, some people with 10+ bans got them for light shit like posting on appeals, most permabanned players however have records that consist of stuff like flaming, racism, doxxing, feeding/instigating drama etc

most permas are understandable, usually p fair play on the staff issuing them, though i dont think they should be given out lightly whatsoever

some permabans have been really weird, case in point that jackassfromhellz guy whos just got permad for saying the n word

A warn and kick would have been ok, a perma is a bit much for what was clearly just a joke. Kinda feel bad for saying “im gonna say the n word” in ooc and he replying

mainly talking about the forum bans etc by the way, I'm sure that particular ban can be resolved on the man's appeal
