I mean to be fair here though, people IRL shoot hostage takers if they get an angle. The fact he managed to land a fluke headshot after getting his brains blown out was more based on the roll than practicality.
i sorta agree. it's very realistic as to what would really happen, but i'm sure there could have been some more interesting rp out of it, which also could have ended with no death from the tribune.
I mean again, I don't think the cop was "trigger happy" personally given they managed to get behind the shooter and were in a position to dome him before he shot the hostage or got away with you. As it so happened due to the fluke role, you got shot in the face too.
if a gun is being held to an important person and your instinct is to shoot, then your capacity should be re evaluated. even if his back is facing you, something can always go wrong
but hey, at least citizens get to starverp now.
