Uh, there's a lot tbh. I switched to AMD Ryzen last year, @`impulse, @Jamie and @Zombine did too; Highly recommend it. The security flaws are spectre and even a new one this week that I don't remember the name of, the patches will hurt performance.

It's not a case of "if you suffer" from the flaw, it's patched regardless which means you suffer the performance loss as a result.

hows ryzen for overclocking? usually pretty stable?
