those are actually not good for walks, maybe for beach walks but that's it.
I prefer a normal leash due to the obvious pro's it has with controlling the dog's behavior.

depends on the dog really, dogs ive been with always knew to behave better a bit when they were on leashes and always let em run around at the beach leashless or in other safe places
