the decentralized systems we've steadily reformed into have made the senate the centerpiece entity instead of one or two people that pull strings toward the general direction that the faction members want

the fact that, theoretically, the senate can now flip the whole faction's political scene on its head in a matter of a few hours and elections, potentially even without a lead knowing about or intervening in, really makes me happy and feel very proud over what we've accomplished

my role as a faction lead has been reduced to acting as an ooc warden and gate-guard of the faction. In theory and if ooc aspects weren't a real problem, we could extremely easily make some slight changes to make a lead completely redundant, having the faction be entirely autonomous and self-driving instead
