Seems like current lore, as well written as it is, conflicts a lot with itself. The server is tonally deaf and can't tell if it wants to be a post apocolyptic distopia or a recovering slightly crappy place to be. When you can be pk'd for having 5 non uu tacos but we have super duper a.i with attitudes, it just seems so messy

seconded yeah. i think helix is definitely pretty distanced from "classic" HL2RP. to me it personally does seem a little TOO lenient at times - but that's not to say i'm an advocate for "super gritty dystopia where you can't take even a shit"
there are things i like and dislike about both extremes but i wish we could kinda just choose one or the other rather than this awkward mishmash that's poorly reflected ingame

Things lore wise can always be a bit mixed, it's just a vidya after all and stuff but it just feels like it's go to the point of being ludicrous and I can't really immerse myself in the funny little world it's created anymore
