As well as a general lack of closure, typically seeing things ending when someone just declares 'fuck it' and stops posting. Or of course, closure at an inappropriate time without tackling the key issue
Even though people may not be server regulars, if they're still bothered enough to be posting on forums, I'd rather include them. - Really better off not burning bridges.
Despite that, there's quite a few people who play the server who don't actively participate in discussions regarding HL2RP in general, for various reasons of their own.
I don't mind discussion, but it's hard for anyone to say they are speaking "on behalf of the server" so to speak.
I figure for the most part nobody can speak for the server as a whole, except for management since they make the final decisions after all. We can speak for ourselves though.
I feel that's why there is a feeling of discontent lurking. from the player perspective here, if there is a suggestion that a lead doesn't agree with, there is a prolonged tennis match that goes off course. - Not too much visibility if it gets properly discussed, or if it was ever considered before.
Seems to be however that it's the same people who take part in that tennis match to which it comes to a point where people lose interest in trying to do anything exciting or interesting, through fear of causing another shitstorm.
I've had conversations with people who've told me specifically that they wouldn't want to raise a point or issue about anything because they feel one side of this "match" will chastise them.
but essentially, I want to be able to look at this community in a year's time with a positive outlook. I don't want to have to declare 'fuck this' a third time. - Guess if you want to get that done, I gotta start some DIY
im tryna get some cwu/um events done because they are eternally the forgotten factions in terms of the event team, even more so when the event schedule is flooded with rebel events and a few cp events :/
