common knowledge but i'd like to know what spurred you to come to this realization

extra attacks, that arcane archer subclass is dope and a before it got updated it was just flat out useless, the new ranger makes it viable but id still rather play arcane archer fighter for like extra attack, action surge and shit

i'd actually say Battlemaster does a good job with Precision Strike

especially if you pick up the Sharpshooter feat

Still an Arcane Archer fight is the best ranged out there, those magic arrows have some wild effects and being able to curve arrows is dope too

at some point whacky effects like banishment don't matter if you're dealing 4d8+20+40 damage (doubled if you use Action Surge) each turn
