Because idfk who exactly is involved from an ooc perspective. Why make a second discussion when you already have an existing one that is being watched by basically all parties

It being "entirely up to me" is wrong when there is 173883 other characters intertwined in the whole story. I can't just make up stuff by myself and expect everyone to know and play along when they aren't aware of it.

I’m not supposed to leave concluded appeals unlocked. Appeals are for judging whether the PK is valid or not. Besides, if cops killed him, how many people actually ICly know he’s dead unless he was shot in the face in public view?

Alot. Believe me or not, the news of his death sparked a lot of roleplay in character, causing direct rivalies between the Italians and my character & friends, actively antagonizing eachother in order to come out on top without directly going in for some cheap PK.

Some characters are caught inbetween said conflict, having to pick sides because they previously associated positively with both, unknown to the conflict that was happening prior.

While I am happy he is back because the death was undeserved, it sparked a lot of active roleplay involving a lot of characters, and I'd have to just have it all end up in "oh he is alive, well, fuck you anyway".

How long do you want the thread to be unlocked for? Can you determine how long the discussion will take?
