Because it's being led by UKIP, a group of MP's in which when the leader was heckled with "Racist, Homophobe!" He replied with "I don't think we're homophobes."

They also the people who think

"We have an immigration problem"

is the same as

"fuck people of other nationalities and race, they aren't equal to white people."

It's UKIP that made people believe it. If only all those immigrants from Syria and all those other wartorn countries weren't in a state where they would need to go to another country for their own survival.

It's not the immigrants that are the problem, it's the thing that's making them immigrants.

I'm not saying immigration is a bad concept, it's just a bit weird that pretty much all of them get priority over a country's own people, in terms of housing etc.

An immigrant can get a council house much faster than a poorer english person could, at least in some areas.

UKIP, Boris Johnson. Those are the two main spearheads for the leave campaign, if I recall.
