I'll post it here too; its so that staff can confirm who started conflict because people can miss and thus not cause damage when they engage. If I shoot at you and miss and you kill me, I can claim you RDM'd me because there's no damage logs of me hitting you, just of you killing me. They couldn't tell. If I have to /me, they ALWAYS know who started it.

Why not use a bind? Removes the ooc bias of people being just quicker on typing, binds show up in console. Best of both worlds
I don’t really care if we use 2k or 2rp I’ll follow the rules regardless but it seems a lot more easier for everyone if binds are used

Binds give you an almost unfair advantage because you can tap a button and instantly shoot. Some people had it set up so it'd paste AS they shot. I know that seems paradoxical but a lot of shit happened regarding Binds back in the day, they were banned even before I joined on LP.

There will always be a unfair advantage, people are sometimes generally faster putting a copy and paste in. I for one always goof it up, either press enter too soon or not hit v and fumble to the key next to it.

If it’s unfair to have a bind, it’s still unfair (maybe even more so) to slam in a copy and paste. I just think the c and p is just there to keep us in a middle ground between s2k and s2rp. I want us to commit to one or the other
