so theres these two street gangs in korea right? one is called cyberpunk, and the other is called jojo. jojo are very scary cos they have some scary guys with katanas and Bushido, meanwhile, cyberpunk which is ran by this guy called Han has some wacky uhhh assassin robots, and big polearm electrostick, and also a 6'5 steroid beast korean man called bong bo
and these two gangs spend a lot of time fighting over chinese territory, which is actually a fish market with a big shark in it. but its old and smells. and is a stolen science experiment. so everyones running around either smoking weed and having the time of their life, or risking life and limb to destroy the other gang
and eventually it boils into this big big fight where bong bo smashes a lot of jojo peoples heads, but the cyberpunk men lose. its all a commentary on british imperialism, really. also engel haas died
by super soldier do you mean a mutant? harvey roth is a former diplomat turned hobo infected with a parasite that attaches at the spine and is about half the size of a headcrab, once it latches on the victim basically has a stroke and goes comatose for a few minutes to hours (cont)
once infected the victims mental state will very rapidly decline into nothing but vaguely animalistic instincts and a burning desire to consume and add more mass to their form
when they eat a dead person entirely (brain is most important here) they absorb a quarter of their intellect and memories, if they consume/absorb (depending on their size) a living thing they gain the entirety of their intellect and memories
with mass consumed the victim grows larger and the parasite grows smarter
also very important detail is that with damage taken, specific adaptations are evolved to counter that specific thing
once they get to about 100-125 iq their instincts begin to diminish and they more or less have free will, though, it's practically the parasite at that point
there's a specific point in the "evolution" where the original host's consciousness will return and the choice will subconsciously be presented to them to continue to grow intellectually, thus handing control over to the parasite, or stay at that level mentally
the parasites are incredibly uncommon given they can barely move when they lack a host, most went into hibernation and just starved, never discovered in the first place
end goal for the hosts that choose to continue to grow intellectually and hand over control completely to the parasite is to create a hive and eventually create more parasites
