You're not really supposed to tell people, but take precautions yourself - What is truly illegal is to say someone has COVID publicly (data protection laws, discrimination stuff, blah blah all that stuff).

I mean yea you are obliged to alert those you've been in contact with within the past two weeks to inform them that you're infected so they may be checked - As some may even be asymptomatic so they may be spreading it without having a single clue

That's what I mean, maybe not illegal, but it's at least immoral for his school to not tell the people he has been in contact with that he has covid, that's just them being selfish pricks so they can say they have no recorded covid cases in the school
