Would anyone be interested, or care, about a thread like that in regards to an insight on the decline of self-driven RP in roleplaying mediums? I've given this topic in particular a great deal of thought and I've even begun writing up a little bit of the piece already, but I don't want to come off as some HL2RP boomer raving off about shit when they don't even play the server.

Just figured I'd take a quick poll before I write it further since ik it can be pretty eye-rolling to see some forum bimbo clacking away at some huge wall of text about this sort of stuff.

It's primarily on the subject of how roleplaying communities have become somewhat parasitic towards their event curators/admins/etc. to facilitate content for them, as well as how the mechanics and systems of these RP servers have been molded around that notion which has only reinforced the mentality.

It's something I feel that I have a very experienced perspective on as a result of my work in other communities and really just want to provide as food for thought for people as roleplayers/curators of RP content.

If it's something that people would actually want to read then I'd definitely get along to finishing it, but if not I don't want to spend so much time writing out an entire case study on something people won't find it worth their time to read nor consider.
