i used to be very much the same, but i kinda got over myself and figured that people shouldnt be gatekept from a particular avenue of rp (in this case, medrp) because they dont want to spend hours upon hours trawling through articles about medical practice. as long as it's not outright and obviously a horrible idea, i'd just learn to let it go :)
