No Mans Sky, Black Desert, Players Unknown - I'd count Total War Hammer too; but that's only because its Sega and Creative Assembly - game is pretty good despite the DLC policy. Little bit biased because I like Warhammer though.
Forgot to add my screenshot to top post might as well put it here - https://puu.sh/x8vTn.png - Black Desert at its core is pretty interesting game and I enjoyed it a lot; played at launch you see. But the game at its core is also a Korean MMO, very grindy with P2W in the store; despite the game being pay to play.
Yep, its pretty much that. Western version is P2P but the developers saw the need to milk their customers beyond having different armour skins - you must purchase in the store. Or else you only have like three to four ish throughout whole of the game unless you give cash. Game is pretty P2W in Japan anyway, wasn't very surprised that the publishers later on renounced their effort to 'keep it fair' and what not.
Sadly that seems to be the case. MMOs have been pretty much stuck dead in the innovation department for a long while. MMOs used to be 'epic' adventures with the same difficulty of classic RPGs now its just a theme park or a scam to steal all their customers money. In most cases including both of the aforementioned.
