Vol 1-3 were good. Awkward but good. 4 dropped the ball pretty far, but 5 seems to be picking up well.

Volume 1 Episode 8 was and still is my favorite episode of the entire show. Ruby's voice has changed way too much over the course of the volumes and the fight scenes lack the weight they used to have. Ever since Monty passed the show dropped a lot in quality I feel, even if the graphics are stunningly better. (I never thought I'd grow on the style change)

Volume 4 could be skipped and you'd miss nothing. I hope Volume 5 doesn't fall under that same problem. I haven't watched any of 5 yet because I'm saving the episodes to watch more in bulk than 1 at a time, because knowing RT, they'll release a wonderful World of Remnant in place of an actual episode one week.

4 did have some important things, and I understand that they were trying to make it a slower paced, more world building sort of thing... But they went too slowly. They should've left World Building to WoR, and kept up with the adventures.
