Any ways for boosting gmod FPS? (Besides obvious ones)

I want to be able to play gmod at a bit high FPS without completely ruining the graphics. Like I still want to be able to see the characters eyes and basic textures. Graphics are part of it for me. Honestly I just want like a 10 fps boost because I get like 15 on HL2RP.
