The Butterfly Lovers: This chinese concerto is triditionally lead by an ehru. It tells the story of two lovers who are transformed into butteflys. One in the beginning, the other later into the piece. The voicing displays the whimsical, confusion, desperation, and release.
Sarabande: One of my favorite classical pieces. The sleepy movement to urgency and almost impending darkness and gloom is within the drawn out volins while the oboes highlight a bit of victory.
