I wouldn't consider SAW a slasher film however out of those options its the series I would prefer to watch, simply for how consistently ridiculously entertaining it is.

The first Saw was more of a psychological horror with gore elements (before it turn into Danganrompa in the sequels) but I'd the best slasher is the Cabin in the woods, does it count btw?

This, especially Halloween imo, its so good at being suspenseful and being creepy without using gore almost at all and im looking forward to the sequel this year

i hope they try to stay close to the original instead of being gory for no reason, you can watch rob zombie's halloweens for that
