To what extent can your relationship with sapient characters develop, and under what circumstances?: The normal relationship that can be established to somebody else extends only to that like a stray cat, not a friend but rather as a simple food source with nothing else going for it and can revert to outright hostility at the drop of a hat.
Extensive bonding is possible but is only able to be formed with a vortigaunt after a rigorous process along with proper auths from both faction-leaders.
