went to goodwood festival of speed today, if you don't know what it is, it's a huge motorsport event in the uk that has a host of cars from different motorsports from around the world (@Subeh @'77 East even your v8 supercars you aussies seem so fond of)

here's a massive image dump, find something you enjoy and talk about it!

also got to see sebastien loeb, he literally ran past me and my brother about a foot away, saw daniel ricciardo who drove aryton senna's f1 car up the hillclimb course, and famous isle of man tt motorcycle racer john mcguinness, who i keep bumping into and chatting with at events for some reason, he started to remember me

It’s bullshit

as Horner said, Lewis has won enough world championships and been in enough races around Silverstone to know you don’t go for an overtake there. I can see how Lewis thought he was ahead of Max from the onboard, but from the Birdseye shots, you can see Max is still ahead by a full tyre’s width

10 seconds is such a soft penalty too. It’d be fine if it was 10 seconds tacked on at the end, but making it 10 seconds where Lewis can decide when to pit AND let them do a proper pit stop with tyre change is ridiculous. It’s no different to a slow pit stop, hardy a penalty
