changing email on account

for anyone else, how i did it was like this:
1. Hover over your name at top right
2. Go into Contact Details.
3. Change your email in the field near the top.
There was some fuckery going on for me, where it said I wasn't logged in. Might be something to do with logging in solely through steam, but I'm not sure. Anyway, there wasn't anything much more complicated to do; I think I was just sent out a "password" to use in verifying my email, then was able to change it.
