If you want to make statues of NPCs without having to pose, you can:
On Singleplayer, go to the Utilities tab > Server Settings > Physics Timescale, lower this to 0 and turn on Keep Corpses in Context menu (Hold C) > NPCs
Once that's done, spawn some NPC and kill them, they will stay in their last position before registering dead.
Context menu > Right click on their ragdoll, Make Statue. Now, freeze their torso with your Physgun and turn Physics Timescale back up to 1, their weapon doesn't stay so you'll have to get the prop yourself by going into Games > Halflife 2 > weapons at the bottom, this is full of half life 2's weapons' world models so you can place them yourselves. Benefits of this is because it's way easier to set up scenes and Disable Thinking doesn't always save an alive NPCs animations.
