Connection failed after 6 retries aaaa

So yeah just sits on 'Connecting' then eventually gives me 'failed to connect after 6 retries'.

I've tried, all several times;

• Restarting my pc
• Restarting my internet
• Restarting steam
• Verifying game files
• Connecting several ways (through friends, legacy browser, directly through the ip)
• Reinstalling the game

I don't think it's my IP because I can join other servers, although sometimes it won't let me join others, sometimes it will.

Earlier on I had this issue and I was toying around with it for ages, eventually it just suddenly worked

Anyone got any ideas?

if you have hamachi it can mess heavily with your connection

nah its all good i think it was just my DNS, apparently the first two times i restarted my router it didnt fix it
