being rid of CSGO is probably gonna suck for all the lost custom maps, community servers and even the small number of mods that were based on CSGO in spite of how unfriendly its made itself for full-scale modding.

as far as the original game which is what most people are here for goes, I don't much care. CS2 is an objective improvement bar the menu and a couple setting changes which are gonna prove to be temporarily annoying.

Tbf something really stupid which is going to help a lot (and I wish it was added way earlier in CSGO) is the blocking right click on USP and M4 to remove the suppresor

CS:S was garbage at launch and unbearable to play until zblock came out.
CSGO was actual dogshit when it came out until it started being good around 2014 ~ early 2015.
CS2 launches and depending on who you ask its either terrible or mediocre.

I have played this franchise for 17 years, and I can see there is a clear pattern here.
I will have patience.
