If they’ve played the game on battle.net they get all of their items and what not transferred over. If they purchased the game and then it went free I guess it would just be bad luck, I’ve done the same thing a few times. I purchased L4D2 and Payday 2 like a week before they went free.

god dammit I found out how to transfer my saves and all that and the servers are sperging out but the thing on the bungie site says it was transferred yet it's still warning me when I start up my Destiny 2 game.
